As I was pulling into the garage, I could see my husband out in the front yard pruning the fig tree. I had mentioned earlier that I would help him move the cut branches. After I went inside the house to leave my things, I headed to the front yard to help him. As soon as I got outside, there were already 2 little helpers picking up branches and hauling them to the curb. As I started helping, a 3rd neighbor boy came over to join our team. In no time, we had all the prunings stacked in a neat pile. This would have been a difficult task for my husband as he has Myasthenia Gravis, which causes fatigue and limited mobility. But as my mom used to always remind me, "many hands make light work"! I thanked the boys for blessing us with their help and asked their names. After I went back inside the house, I immediately texted my neighbor to share the blessing her son provided. I asked what treat he would like as a reward. I did not know the other 2 boys that lived a couple houses away. I decided to write a thank you note to their parents for raising such caring young men! I also included a little goodie for their family. What a blessing they were to us!
