Thank You, Lord, for the country of Palau, which also means island, as it is an archipelago in the Pacific Ocean consisting of 340 islands. Even though Palau is the 16th smallest country in the world, You have blessed it abundantly in the following ways:

It has a tropical rainforest climate allowing it to receive over 150 inches of rain annually protecting it from environmental deterioration.
It has wildlife preserves to protect the species native to the islands.
It is ranked in the top 20 countries for forest integrity in maintaining its forest structures, composition, and the ecological processes in their natural settings.
It has been awarded the Future Policy Award, because of its global leadership in protecting the eco-systems.
Thank You, God, that You have placed conscientious government leaders in Palau who constructed a nuclear free constitution banning the use, storage, and disposal of nuclear chemicals, gas, and biological weapons without a 75% approval vote. That the leaders are aware of damages that could occur by misuse or insensitivity to the surrounding areas causing catastrophic harm.
Give the Palauan people wisdom in dealing with the illegal use of “dynamite fishing,” where explosives are used near schools of fish to stun or kill them, making it easier for harvesting. Lord, do not allow the abuse of coral dredging, as it changes the eco-structure native to the islands. Please do not allow earthquakes, tropical storms, and volcanic activity to cause any unnecessary destruction to Palau. Send Your angels of protection around the islands to prevent damage. Provide insight for the construction of solid waste facilities, as Palau is a growing country.
Thank You for the resourcefulness of the people of Palau who farm in subsistence agriculture, growing only what they eat, and sending food to other local areas, and farming without the use of pesticides or fertilizers.
God, we ask that the true light of the gospel of Jesus Christ shine on Palau, as one-fourth of the population are a combination of Mahayana Buddhist and Shinto, the rest being Roman Catholic and Protestant. Send laborers into Palau so that whoever calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved. Romans 10:13. Thank You for the beautiful country of Palau.
