Lord God, we break off all curses of control and oppression that were brought in by previous controlling countries over Zimbabwe since the early 1660’s. We thank You that You created each ethnic group and where they live, to be their own people in their own country. They were created to be free and live as You designed them to live, without fear and oppression, and that no man should have dominance over them. Isaiah 54:14 says, “In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.”
We declare that all ancient, demonic powers that cause political unrest and corruption in the government system of Zimbabwe cease and desist. That oppression of human rights stop, and that freedom of speech and press be allowed to operate without censorship.
We bind the spirit of sexual discrimination off of men and women in Zimbabwe, for Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” That there in not one sex greater than the other, for all flesh was created equal in the eyes of God.
We ask that You bring healing to the women of Zimbabwe, as they are considered inferior to the male, treated as property, and sexually abused. That You bring the women freedom and restore their self-worth, as they are taught never to refuse their husband’s sexual advancements, even if they are infected with HIV. We thank You for the healing that is made available by the blood of Jesus Christ to totally cure all 62% of the women aged 15-49 who are currently infected with the HIV disease.
Continue to send environmentalists into the country to help establish clean water stations and to teach about sanitation to prevent diseases.
Strengthen the 84% of Christian believers, and send laborers for the remaining 16%. We thank You, Lord, that the gospel of Jesus Christ has already been preached in Zimbabwe, and we continue to pray for complete salvation and freedom for the country.
Thank You, God, for doing such a great work in the country of Zimbabwe.
